Twenty-three student-athletes from Morton College were named all-Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference Freshman Academic Athletes of the Year for 2019-20.
 
Recipients completed a minimum of 24 semester hours with a 3.00 grade-point average or higher to qualify for the award.

In addition, 17 sophomore student-athletes from Morton College were honored by the conference. Requirements included a 3.0 grade-point average with a minimum of 48 semester hours.
 
The Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference, founded in 1969, consists of eight schools participating in athletic and extracurricular activities. Member schools include Morton College, Elgin, Lake County, McHenry, Moraine Valley, Oakton, Prairie State and Waubonsee.
