Four student-athletes from Morton College received the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference's Dick Durrant Sophomore Academic Athlete of the Year Award Winners for 2024-25.  
Dick Durrant, a former Athletic Director at Elgin Community College, championed the philosophy of academic as well as athletic excellence. 

These scholar-athletes achieved the highest-grade point average, for all men's and women's sports respectively in 2024-25. They have completed four academic semesters with at least 48 semester hours of credit.
