{2022}: NJCAA Division II national qualifier. Placed 63rd with a time of 28:28.8 in Tallahassee, FL. Third-best finisher from Skyway qualifiers. Punched ticket to nationals with an 8th-place finish at Region IV meet (27:45.0). IAAF calls Kiplagat’s hometown of Eldoret, Kenya as the best training ground. 

Studying nursing at Morton College. Attended St. Luke’s High School in Kenya. Goal is to have a running career. Interests away from cross country are tennis and computers. Favorite quote is “Only the disciplined ones are free in life.” Favorite athlete is two-time Olympian Gold medalist long-distance runner Kenenisa Bekele from Ethiopia.
