Biography

Played volleyball and was an AP student at Senn High School on Chicago’s North Side. Featured in Evanston photographer Melissa Ann Pinney’s book, “In Their Own Light: Photographs From Chicago Public Schools.” According to Pinney’s website, it’s the story of young people and their exploration of identity. 

{More about Mila}: Came to Morton College because of her love of volleyball and saw this as an amazing opportunity to play at the college level. Interests away from volleyball include art, cooking, baking and nature. Majoring in art. Favorite pre-game snack is watermelon. Favorite movie is Fantastic Mr. Fox. Favorite athlete is Japanese figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu. Three must-have apps are Messages, Jewel/Osco and Chase.
