Morton College

Participated in cross country, basketball and track at Yorkville High School. Helped by 4 by 800-meter relay team place eighth at Class 3A state girls track meet to receive all-state honors.

Named Kendall County Record Newspaper Player of the Year in girls basketball. Stewart led the Foxes to a 19-13 record – the most wins in five years – second place in the Southwest Prairie West and a regional final. Averaged 12.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists per game.

{More about Alex}: Played the trumpet since fifth grade. Top 10 percent in graduating class at Yorkville. Received Academic Excellence award. Majoring in business. Picked Morton College because “I knew it would be the best program to be in.” In addition to her music, Alex enjoys drawing and making/editing videos. Favorite quote is Eric Thomas’ “When you want to succeed as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful.” Favorite athlete is Michael Jordan. Favorite pre-game snack is pineapple.
