Biography

Montserrat was a key member of Morton College's Region IV championship women's basketball team in the spring of 2021. She switched over to be part of the first women's golf team at Morton College. Montserrat is pursuing her Associate in Arts degree at Morton College. She played volleyball, basketball and soccer at Argo Community High School. Her sister, Rebeka, played volleyball and basketball at Morton College. Her hobbies include baking and spending time with family. 

While her favorite athlete is Steph Curry, Montserrat draws inspiration from basketball great Michael Jordan who said, "I've failed over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed."

During the pandemic of 2020, Montserrat started learning Italian. She focused on mastering numbers and basic phrases. Montserrat's three-must have apps: Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok.
