Lillianna Franco

Lillianna Franco is the third member of her family to coach soccer at Morton College. Her father, Juan, is the head men’s and women's coach and brother, Alex, was the men’s assistant. This is Franco’s fourth year in the program and she is interested in helping student-athletes reach their fullest potential.

The 2007 graduate of Morton East High School was a four-year varsity member on the girls’ soccer team, where Franco received all-academic and all-conference accolades. In high school, Franco also participated in the Illinois Olympic Development Program.

Franco attempted to play soccer at Northwestern University, but her promising career was cut short after a torn anterior cruciate ligament. She did recover from her injury to participate on Northwestern’s club program.

Franco continued to excel academically as she received her degree in Communication Studies. At Northwestern, Franco was a Gates Millennium Scholar and received the Northwestern University Latino Alumni Association’s Leadership Award.

Franco is pursuing her master’s degree in higher education at Northwestern. She also is a Director on the Morton College Foundation.
