Biography

Edith played four years of soccer and ran cross country for a year at Wheeling High School. Attracted to Morton College because of its “Hispanic Serving Institution” status. Graduate of Wheeling’s esteemed AVID Scholars program, which has a 100 percent college placement rate since its beginning in 2012.

{More about Edith}: She’s certified as a soccer referee and coach. Edith, who is left-handed, wants to pursue a career in sports management. Favorite athlete is Lionel Messi. Lives life by Marta Vieiria da Silva’s quote of “Believe in yourself and trust yourself, because if you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will.” Favorite pre-game snack are granola bars. Favorite book is “Unbreakable” by Jenni Rivera.
