Khaled Alkelane
Four men's wrestlers from Morton College are recipients of the National Wrestling Coaches Association's (NWCA) 2025 NJCAA Men's Scholar All-American awards.
All four student-athletes have demonstrated excellence both on the mat and in the classroom, meeting one of the following academic and athletic criteria:
• National placer with a 3.0 GPA or higher
• National qualifier with a 3.25 GPA or higher
• Competed in 15 or more matches with a 3.5 GPA or higher
Honored from Morton College are:
Khaled Alkelane, a sophomore in the Associate in Science program
Angel Nava, a sophomore majoring in welding.
David Roa, a freshman in the Associate in Arts program
Juan Villa, a sophomore in the Associate in Science program
Nava and Alkelane were NJCAA national tournament qualifiers. Nava made it to nationals twice and Alkelane, once, during their wrestling careers at Morton College.
