Morton College

2021: Made most of limited playing time, hitting .600 with six hits in 10 at-bats. Had two doubles, two walks, two stolen bases and four RBI.

2020: Off to a great start before COVID shut down season. Batting .368 (7 for 19) with a double, five RBI and four runs scored.

About Ivan: He is currently serving as the Student Trustee to Morton College's Board of Trustees. He was a First Team NJCAA  Academic All-American in 2021. In high school, Ivan was a member of the National Honor Society and the High Honor Roll. He also received the National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar Award. He is interested in majoring in engineering. His interests include table tennis, soccer and Rubik's Cube. During the pandemic, Ivan learned how to solve a Rubik's Cube blindfolded. His favorite athlete is Javy Baez.

As a senior at Dunlap, Ivan scored the winning run in the regional championship game against Bartonville Limestone. Dunlap won three consecutive one-run games to capture a Class 3A sectional title before losing a one-run contest to Dixon in the supersectional final.
