Morton College

{2023 season}: Team leader in strikeouts (78), innings (68), ERA (3.04) and K/9 (10.32) at Morton College. Struck out season-best 10 in 5-4 win over Sauk Valley. Magnificent performance in 1-0 loss to Elgin – struck out nine and allowed three hits in seven-inning complete-game effort. Posted 6-5 record in 14 games.

Honorable Mention in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference, going 1-2 with 2.74 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 23 innings. Panthers scored just one run for Fox in both Skyway losses.

{More about Jeremy}: Played baseball, basketball and soccer at Riverside-Brookfield. Went 7-0 as a senior with 1.02 ERA and 77 strikeouts in leading Bulldogs to share of conference championship. High school teammate of Atlanta Braves’ first-round pick Owen Murphy. Other notables from Jeremy’s block-long street in Riverside is Dr. Dominic Tedesco, a cardiothoracic surgeon in California who played on three Big Ten championship football teams at Michigan in the late 1970s.
