Sjenna Van De Weerd produced her fourth hat trick of the season and league Co-Goalie of the Year
Zoe Hocke notched her seventh clean sheet in the last eight games as the Panthers rolled to an 8-0 Region 4 first-round playoff victory over Triton October 30th at home.
The fifth-seeded Panthers (13-5-2) keep rewriting the program record book with their eighth straight win and 13th overall as they head into the Region 4 quarterfinals against No. 4 College of DuPage at noon Sunday, November 2nd, in Glen Ellyn.
Van De Weerd, the second-leading scorer in NJCAA Division II with 66 points on 24 goals and 18 assists, is two goals away from matching Isabella da Costa's Morton College single-season record of 26 goals set last year.
Frederikke Dam Jergensen added two goals and a pair of assists. With nine goals, Jergensen is one score away from giving Morton College four double-digit goal scorers.
Lea Jager also scored twice, bumping her season total to 11 and career to 22.Â
Sofia Benedetto rounded out the scoring, collecting her first goal of 2025 to make it 4-0 at the half.
Bruna Amar and
Jasminder Ruby Kaur Sangha both had a pair of assists and
Ruby Hogan, one. It was Hogan's 10th assist of the campaign.
