Morton College opens the Region IV women's soccer playoffs with a home contest against the College of DuPage at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Antonio Carbajal Soccer Complex on 32nd Street and Central Avenue, Cicero.

The Panthers (9-7) will be going after their third 10-win season in program history against the 10th-seed Chaps (6-7-3). Morton College is the seventh-seed.

The field features a pair of top 20 teams in the NJCAA Division II with No. 13 Rock Valley and No. 18 South Suburban. The Morton College-COD winner advances to face No. 2 seed Rock Valley at noon Saturday in Rockford.
